Cade Rose

History

• Biography

  Cade was born red-haired and green-eyed on a farm, raised by loving parents, and has four siblings in total; he had a lot of responsibility nigh as soon as he was able to walk. He did simple chores for a time and gradually became dependent on the more laborious things. When he was half a year through the age of ten, he woke up one morning to find that his hair had turned a pure, divine white while his eyes became a bloody scarlet. His parents, worried, took aid from the first traveling individual they could; a shaman with odd mannerisms. Whether the shaman had any solid credentials or was legitimate in any way, was never seen, but in the end; an attempt at cleansing the boy ended up in his right eye going white and him unable to see color with that eye. The shaman accused him of being cursed, unfortunately, and that was the last Cade ever saw of him. The aspect of only seeing color through one eye struck him with frequent migraines and a ton of frustration, but overtime he got used to it; to the point where unless such topics are brought up indirectly, he never mentions it. Eight years pass, time spent working his hands to the bone, and he experiences another life changing event. His family's farm was beset by a goblin tribe, which a roving Adventurer helped quell almost single-handedly. In seeing the bravery on display and hearing more of the mercenary's escapades, Cade became heartened to such a life. Just a few months later he decided to break out from the farm and find work on his own until he could pay for the right gear to begin his adventuring life.
